So, Mom should be posting today but, in case she isn't up to it here is a basic update.

Her 1st night at UCSF she got feisty with the nurses that tried to put her on the hospitals machine for cpap. Man I wish I was there ... the way she tells the story I see Grandma Mahacek in stubborn mode!

Her 1st treatment proved that side affects do happen. She had a headache for about 1 1/2 days... they have since switched her meds around and when I talked to her yesterday she sounded amazing!

She already has a list of visitors on her calendar and phone calls often. Just a reminder... no outside food for her or fresh flowers/plants.
