I have started this update several times, but I fall sleep. I mean it – I fall asleep. Ask Matt, I fell asleep playing cards with him Wednesday night. So, I am adding to some comments from days ago -
The transplant procedure went well. To celebrate, the nurses order a “birthday” cupcake and wish you a happy birthday. The first four days following the transplant were low keyed. Headache is diminished and I am off of nausea medicine as it is gone. My counts continued to fall until I became neutropenic on Friday. My ANC count was zero for the last four days. Today it is a whopping 0.02
One of the side effects is blisters. I have developed them in my month, my palms and fingers and on the bottom of my feet. At first I was so hung up on the fact that I had a broken foot that I was associating every foot pain with that. Than I looked at the feet- huge blisters on each heel and sole.
I have lots more to add, but am falling asleep. Bottom line I am doing good, right on track. Will try to continue update later or tomorrow.

Good to see an update Dianne. I am hoping to see you Sunday afternoon and/or Monday morning if all goes well. (I'm am staying with Jenny overnight and going to some meetings for work).
Look forward to seeing you as long as you are up to it and I continue to be sickness free!
