Day 46

Can you believe it has been that long? When I walked in today Mom was sitting in a chair eating a part of her lunch. Not much… but to me it was huge! I haven’t seen her sitting in a chair for a long time not to mention eating! Then nurse came in with good news… no more major precautions… so her shingles seems to be under control. Her blood counts are improving and she knows that in order to come home she needs to work at gaining some strength. Although in a lot of pain today… she seemed really really good to me!
