Linking Friends

Hi...My dear friend Betsy has learned from results of her body scan that the cancer is 'only' in her head :)

BUT, is an extremely rare, very aggressive, and difficult type to treat (a brain Hemangiopericytoma). She is facing a tough battle and must act fast despite uncertainty and even disagreement among her Drs. about what treatment to start. She's quickly trying to make contact with cancer centers/experts anywhere in the country or the world (be a name-dropper if you have any ideas!).

She just initiated a web site...those of you interested can keep up on her progress and/or offer information or support; I know she'll be so grateful.

Clearly we humans are fragile organisms...just thinking of how many folks in Dianne's circle of friends and families are struggling with medical issues -- Helps me cherish every good day and be thankful for the strength within us, surrounding us, and between us...and especially for the creative, determined, and capable professionals that keep doing the hard work to find cures and provide care every day!
