It takes some one special to visit Mom

Ok you don’t have to be that special you just need to have had Chicken Pox or have been vaccinated for them to visit mom, if you have not you can not go in the room to see her. On top of mom not feeling well do to the side affects from her treatment and the length of her stay she has Shingles. This should not affect her treatment but they did move her to a different room because of it (the address to the left has been updated). On a good note her platelets have climbed to a normal level with out the aid of blood products, great job Mom. Kathy was down to see her today and after I arrived we had some dinner before moving her to her new room and getting her stuff set up. She has a new phone number; if you need it please let me know. One last note on visitations mom has been very tired from the treatment and one of the side affects from the medication for the Shingles is drowsiness so she will be doing a fair amount of sleeping. So when you visit be prepare to do some sitting while she sleeps, and remember that I think she like to have someone there to visit with her in between naps.
